My Safety Steps
A tool for Children and Parents
My Safety Steps has been developed from the Building a Child Safe Community Project as part of the Inala to Ipswich Communities for Children Initiative. The Building a Child Safe Community Project focused on creating a more child friendly, child safe community working in partnership across community. The information in the booklet was adapted from various publication from Queensland Police Service, Kids Help Line, Qld Ambulance Service and the Department of Emergency Services Qld.
The resource is printed by the Coordinated Community Response to Domestic and Family Violence and distributed through Queensland Police, Early Learning Centres and Schools, Foster and Kinship Care agencies and at various community events.
